5 de mayo

The celebration of May 5 began in California shortly after the battle, where Mexican-American communities began organizing parades and festivities to commemorate the victory. Over time, the celebration expanded to other parts of the United States and became an opportunity to celebrate Mexican culture and heritage.

It is important to note that May 5 is not a national holiday in Mexico, although it is celebrated in the city of Puebla with parades and cultural events. In the United States, the celebration of May 5 has become a popular festival in which Mexican dishes, traditional dances and other festive activities are enjoyed.

And a lot of tequila and margaritas
